Tyson Waterman has lost his job as an assistant coach at SE Louisiana as a result of some shady dealings he was involved with while a HS coach at Believe Prep in SC and coached 3 players who ended up committing to Donnie Tyndall at Southern Miss. He reportedly passed on money from Tyndall to his HS players and then made it worse after taking the job at SE LA by refusing to cooperate with the NCAA investigation.

If that name sounds familiar, Waterman was an all BSC PG for Greg Marshalls first teams at Winthrop and played a key role in starting the Winthrop mini-dynasty Marshall masterminded. He´s a short, stocky guy, and I remember Jerry Edwards calling him ¨Waterbug¨.

Yeah and Marco White used to have some epic battles when I coached at LU. I didn't know he was coaching. Southern Miss is an absolute mess. I did their game vs Old Dominion and they had 7 guys dressed. I watched another game where they finished with 4 players. Tyndall may never coach again given the allegations that have been leveled against him and all the evidence the NCAA has.
