Anybody seen these new Nike Hyperlite Elite jerseys that teams have been debuting this week? They've got those goofy designs on the back that dook has had on theirs all year.

Apparently they're like 70% lighter than the other uniforms. They look practically see through when you see them on the court




Syracuse got a really bad picture taken. I can't even tell what any of that is supposed to be. I think I see the carrier dome at the bottom. and maybe some basketballs.



This is something that most schools will never see since the "ghost" graphics have a lot of personalized significance to the specific school. I'm chalking up another debacle by Nike on this one. Although in Uconn's case, I actually prefer the look of this one to the one they've been wearing the last couple years. But it's still ugly.

I really liked the look of the white jerseys of this style that UT wore Monday night. What I didn't like was the perofrmance of the players wearing them.

Kentucky is also getting these nonsensical uniforms as well.




Not as good as the pictures at the top, but you get the point that it's awful.

I don't think they're THAT bad. They're definitely different, and not too attractive, but they aren't disgusting. It will just take some getting used to.
The UCONN ones are actually pretty cool IMHO.

I'd agree... but let's face it... next year Nike will have some new design or new look and everyone will have forgotten about these.

Remember about 2 years ago when Nike had a bunch of players, i think for Va Tech, wearing different color sleeves on each arm? And some of the wacky design stuff they did right after that? Everyone complained about how awful it was -- and then the next year it was on to something else. Its all about selling uni's -- and yes I know most people won't go buy these...but, maybe they sell a few thousand to die-hard fans? And obviously we're talking about them... Sounds like good business to me.
