Cleveland shot 50% from three (9-18) and 50% overall (38-76). Take away all the free throw and Cleveland wins by 11. I guess it's the refs, rafer's, and rashard's fault the whole team played porous defense last night. maybe you should call them up or write them or something to let them know that in game 6 they each need to be able to guard all five players on the floor when they are in the game since they are the only ones to blame for the loss. it's the team's fault. when every single player who attempted four or more shots shoots 50% or better from the field (except lebron, but he was 11-24 for 45..8%), it's the team's fault because it obviously shows everyone wasn't getting the job done on defense.
"The Magic could have won the game if Rafer and Rashard hadn't played like crap."
So what? it doesn't matter. Cleveland could have won game 1 if Mo Williams and the bench hadn't played like crap. Cleveland could have won game 3 if mo williams, the bench, and the starting post players hadn't played like crap. Cleveland could have won game 4 if Mo Williams and the bench hadn't played like crap. But guess what? It doesn't matter. The Cavs lost and the Magic and that's all that matters.
You win?
You get brownie points?
I don't know what we did wrong on defense that we didn't do in the other two games... I was trying to figure it out and I just couldn't see it. But if we hit a reasonable amount of free throws and didn't waste possessions with Rafer's terrible shots, we would have been in the game.
But I am not going to debate basketball with someone who really doesn't know basketball, and thinks that a box score and stupid "per 48" numbers are going to tell him what he needs to know. Hollinger from ESPN is a wizard with per 48 numbers, and he picked Cavs in 5. So much for that.
