1 Everyone must submit to governing authorities. For all authority comes from God, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by God. 2 So anyone who rebels against authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and they will be punished. 3 For the authorities do not strike fear in people who are doing right, but in those who are doing wrong. Would you like to live without fear of the authorities? Do what is right, and they will honor you. 4 The authorities are God’s servants, sent for your good. But if you are doing wrong, of course you should be afraid, for they have the power to punish you. They are God’s servants, sent for the very purpose of punishing those who do what is wrong. 5 So you must submit to them, not only to avoid punishment, but also to keep a clear conscience.
Thank God you weren't around in 1776.
Get back to me in 5 years when you are in the working world and President Obama of the USSA has just enacted his 75% income tax so we can re-train everyone to speak Spanish and give free healthcare to those who don't feel it necessary to earn a living.
I'm sure you'll be very supportive of our government. Since God told him to do all that.

Bible > My stupid human wants and desires.
If those are the rules, and they don't go against the Bible, I will follow them.
That's what the Bible teaches.
If you REALLY have that much of an issue with it, you might wanna read the passages I posted, or maybe just find a new religion... because Christians are supposed to be like Christ, and Christ was obedient as he could be, even obedient to die on a cross. I can only imagine if one of you guys was supposed to be in that role...
"God it's not fair that I have to die. I didn't sign up for that, so I shouldn't have to do it..."
Phil. 2:6-8
6 Though he was God,
he did not think of equality with God
as something to cling to.
7 Instead, he gave up his divine privileges;
he took the humble position of a slave
and was born as a human being.
When he appeared in human form,
8 he humbled himself in obedience to God
and died a criminal’s death on a cross.
Honestly, it's kinda sad that you guys are arguing against the Bible. There is no greater Truth, anywhere. I know you guys hate to be wrong, but when do you stop arguing directly in the face of God's Word?
It was my privilege to serve you today. If you have any feedback, please direct it to my Assistant Director....
