2006 (Jr.): Started 10 games … ranked third on the team in scoring with 41 points … ranked fifth in the Big South in scoring per game by a kicker (4.1 points) … hit 29-of-32 PAT … finished the year tied for first on the team by connecting on 4-of-8 field goal attempts … fifth in the conference in field goals (0.40 per game) … ranked fourth in the league in PAT’s percentage (90.6) … had a string of 34-consecutive PATs snapped against St. Paul’s in the team’s season opener … the streak ranked as the longest in program history.

2005 (So.): Saw playing time in eight games … finished the season a perfect 17-for-17 on PAT … also was 1-for-4 on field goal attempts … ranked second on the team in scoring with 20 points.

2004 (Fr.): Started all 11 games as the Flames’ place kicker … finished the season with 58 points, ranking as the third-most points scored by a freshman in school history … converted on 31-of-32 PAT attempts … connected on 9-of-14 field goal attempts … ranked second on the team and sixth in the Big South Conference in scoring … ranked 43rd in the nation in field goals … converted on 8-of-9 field goal attempts from 39 yards … was a perfect 7-of-7 on PAT against West Virginia Tech in his first collegiate game(9/4), tying for the fifth-most PAT in a game in school history.

Now that Greenbaum is here from UVA Zach might still kick extra points

No one can anoint Greenbaum a savior. He didn't have much playing time at UVA so until he gets into a game, no one knows how good he'll really be.

ill say it since everyone else is thinking it.......we can't do much worse than we did last year....so someone better step up or be forced to ride the pine if they can't at least be consistent. I really don't care if we have a linemen "toeing" the ball as long as the % are an improvement.

At least Beasley was consistent. He consistently missed crucial FG's for us last year and the year before.

A don't expect Greenbaum to be "our savior" but at least some degree of improvement is a given

I don't think anyone thinks Noah is a savior, but we do expect an improvement. As stated, anything is an improvement. I'm still surprised Coach didn't recruit anyone to come in this year as a freshman. Oh well, bigger needs I guess.
