Rashad was hurt half the year and doesn't deserve it. No one on football really had a HUGE year.

Josh McDougal or Blair has to get the male athlete of the year.

Biggest win: women over UVA

Best male athlete: Josh (wish I could say LB, but Josh did so much more nationally)

Best female athlete: Frazee

Individual performance: Megan at UVA should/will be included. I would pick that over Alex since so many people did that to VMI

Newcomers: ??? I'd have to think about that one.

I think Brew's 30+ against Winthrop was more impressive than Ace against VMI. LB also put 40 up on someone.

Brew at Winthrop was sick. He flat out took over that game. Unfortunately, only 3 of us on here saw that.

My list exactly plus Alex for best newcomer, and IMHO they are all no brainers or close to it. Josh's triple at the BSC track championships was impressive, as was his 4 minute mile, but what Megan did against UVA was special. CSU may have been undefeated when we beat them in FB, but looking back now, although it was an important win for us, it wasn't any great accomplishment. Softball over Michigan was a great win as well.

It's funny that as excited as we all are about the season the FB team had, the games that would have been real contenders for "best win" are the ones that got away ie: Coastal or W&M.

I don't think one of the football games will win, but it should be nominated.

The basketball over UVA was big, but I almost think softball over Michigan was bigger.

I think the biggest win has to be against CSU. The way we beat them and the fact they were ranked vaults them to the biggest win of the year, IMO.

Biggest win of the year for football, yes, biggest win in flames sports, no. Beating UVA was SO much bigger than that.

CSU may have been undefeated and ranked when we beat them, but we know now that was bogus. It was an impressive win because of how easily we handled them, but I don't think it was a BIG win, because they just weren't that good.

Who did Brew drop 30 on?

Edit: Maybe it's just 28 against HPU. I thought it was 30+ on someone.

Rashad Jennings didn't do anything. He was hyped as much as Brew and barely lived up to it.

Look at the games against decent teams. Rashad put up good numbers on DII's and Savannah St. Look at Towson and Wake and see how bad he did.
