yeah, even though a 2nd rounder gets no guarenteed contract or money, McBob's in a great situation to succeed. He's more of a complimentary player and I think Oden will really give him that chance to do well.

if the trailblazers and/or sonics don't make the playoffs, everyone in those team's administration should just be fired. who do they have to compete with for the 7th and 8th spots: nuggets, lakers, golden state, clippers, and hornets are the only ones who could make it. none of those teams really got all that much better. the lakers will get worse by losing kobe. golden state's success in the playoffs was a fluke. the clippers are the clippers, you never know waht will happen there. and the hornets sucked when they had one of their two best post players, david west, playing. the trailblazers and sonics improved DRAMATICALLY last night. trailblazers lose zach randolph, but get oden, channing frye (who is a pretty solid post player), two fairly good europeans, as well as four second round players who are proven winners - and two of them were projected to be in the first round. but they did get steve francis, which is a problem. the sonics just lose ray allen, but they get durant, wally szczerbiak, delonte west, and jeff green - that's 4 players that can play right away.
