Western Carolina University will be looking at coaches now...since their Coach (Raleigh) will be announced as the new Head Coach at Tennessee. Hopefully, this won't impact our search at all. Reading the Tennessee boards...there is "wailing and gnashing of teeth" right now in Knoxville over their hire.

WCU has a better baseball tradition, though. LU plays in a better conference...and I bet better funding is right around the corner.

I don't know if I'd say the Big South is a better conference. Coastal and Winthrop are the only to make the NCAA regularly in the Big South. Elon, CofC, App, WCU, and a few others are regulars every few years in it.

Both are good jobs, it just all depends on what you want.
