And I'm assuming you mean Danny Rocco, because Frank Rocco's is going on too.

Way to put our guys in the furthest dorm from the football stadium. Yea, yea, boys state, whatever.

Super, they are staying in a girls' dorm, right? Are they having to walk all that distance or is there a shuttle? Did the boys have to bring their own helmets? I went by today and saw several white helmets. Wasn't sure if those were old LU helmets or ones the boys brought with them. One last question--are their meals catered or are they just eating in the cafeteria like everyone else?

They're staying in 33 which is a girls dorm.

We have one of the buses that we're using to take the players from the dorms to the Rot to the FOC and all of that. The only place they're having to walk around campus is to the extra fields if we need them.

The players are eating at the Rot, just like the kids from Boys State.

All players had to provide their own helmets. A lot of them are plain helmets because their high schools haven't put decals on them yet. LCA guys have white helmets, along with quite a few other kids.

And before she gets on here and brags, I'll admit that bozlady punked me. I didn't think she had it in her.

Funny thing is, it involved a camera.

I had used her camera to take pictures and was working by her computer. I kept the camera plugged into the computer and went where I was supposed to be at next. When I came back, the camera was gone but the case was still there. I didn't wanna call her and tell her I lost her camera. I searched the building, told our team, etc. The first time I called her (before I started searching), she didn't answer the phone.

I don't think she realizes what she's gotten herself into.

SuperJon -> :bowdown ..............Bozlady -> :queen

.....but i bet you learned your lesson, eh? I'll bet you'll never leave an expensive digital camera out in the OPEN with 100 high school football players roaming the building, eh? ........

case closed

It was right next to her computer screen. Those kids are too scared of the coaches to even try to go near it.

The thing is, now I have to get her back, and I have more on my side than she does...

Plus, I'm just way too trusting. It's the southern part coming out in me. We don't have to lock our doors at home, etc. I don't think twice about leaving something on an office desk.

You'd snap out of that dream world if you lived on campus. People will steal anything and everything.

I would have thought Supe would have learned his lesson after his laptop got stolen.

Yep A guy on our hall stole 200 dollars worth of gift cards from across the hall..... although he did get caught trying to sell them to a guy next door....

Oh, I'd never do that on a hall. I just assumed a camera, plugged into a computer, in an office would be safe.

Plus I realized I was running late for where I was supposed to be next. I spent more time than I had planned on something else.

In the early days of Campus East, before we were known as Campus East and were just simply "The New Dorms" (and there were only 6), we quickly learned to lock our doors. Those that locked their doors didn't have stuff stolen...those that didn't, well...lets just say some insurance companies began finding a lotta claims from Lynchburg, VA.

And SJ, remember what happens when you assume stuff

Indeed...and one thing I learned real quick my freshman year about the value of a locked door. (PM me if you want the whole story)
