Interesting iTunes find; there are opencourses and free downloads from major universities (I even saw an "Elementary Greek" course from Concordia Seminary. Colleges I saw with stuff listed:

(Seems like a good marketing tool...perhaps LU has something they could put up?)

Duke
MIT
Stanford
University of South Florida

*For the English Majors and Education majors, check out the USF offering:

iTunesU -> University of South Florida -> COEDU -> Lit2Go

*It offers MP3 downloads of books broken down by grade level.

One option LU could do is to take works in the public domain (because they are Free/no royalties) and have some of the Theater Majors/Actors from the Theater Department record them in the LU Communications studios. There are several free audiobook download sites of works in the public domain, but many are either automated readings (somewhat monotonous to listen to) or a person has simply recorded them themselves at home. (i.e. Librivox, Project Gutenberg, FreeClassicAudiobooks.com, et al.)

This could give LU Theater majors some experience and offer something for their resume; while allowing LU a relatively free way to get its icon on iTunes for marketing purposes. If the recordings are first rate, they could get tons of hits on iTunes.
