I quit a restaurant job when they wouldn't let me off to watch the Orioles in the World Series in 1983, but Bryson I wouldn't recommend quitting over a Single A baseball game--even if they offer you all-you-eat ballpark food for $10.

I did go to my first ever Hillcats game today and enjoyed it a lot....thats a nice little minor league stadium they have there....It wasn't expected

same thing i said the first time i saw the stadium... i couldnt believe it. that place is very nice for a minor league team. i was expecting a stadium several steps down from that!

yeah....not only is it a minor league park, but its in lynchburg....so i never really expected much...very nice park....i went with my fiance and she had a lot of fun....and we plan on going back one or two more times before the seasons over....and though I can't make it to these all you can eat nights....the food really is pretty cheap....

I was very happy with my experience there and they have found a new customer (well 2)

On what side do the Flame Fans sit?

The park used to look much older, but when they renovated it, the park took on a whole new look. Friends tell me that they start serving food like 30 or 60 minutes before the game, and if you go then, the lines aren't long at all.

last time we picked the side according to which food-line was shorter. so we drifted around basically the whole time.

(Even though he's sitting across the room from me on FF too, I feel I must post this)



The best place to sit is on the 3rd base side in the reserved seats. There is a table on the concourse that has everything but pizza. There's rarely ever a line.

Bryson, I think when you left the score was 4-0 Frederick. The final score was 5-0, with the Keys scoring again in the top of the 9th, and I, too, am STUFFED--one burger, 2 dogs, 1 cup of peanuts, 2 slices of pizza, and 2 1/2 cups of popcorn, and definitely "one of the best nights of my life." Thanks for you and SJ sitting with us. All we were missing was JDUB.
