Was today the first day it's been on? I know they've been working on it.

Actually, that's beside the point. At 8:40 I walked past it and it had bubbles. Are you serious? Someone put bubbles in it that early in the morning?

Bubbles in the fountain!!!!??????

That's never ever EVER been done before!!!

Personally, I always wanted to throw a couple of family-size packs of Country Time along with some king-sized Mars bars in there and see what the reaction would be.

Both of those are genius Lib. I'd never try to pull something like that off.

I spent a long while trying to figure out how I could make it Jello. Surprisingly enough, it wouldnt be all that expensive. But it has to be refridgerated so you'd have to pick the perfect fall night, before they empty it off for the winter.

The bubbles are the reason it's never on. It's so boring now. And bad for the pumps. At least do something creative that doesn't require the thing being shut off so much. I kind of like the fountain.

Jello wouldn't work, the constant mixing would prevent it from gellatizing (I know thats not a word, but you get the point).

As far as the bubbles...just please stop. They don't have that problem at Longwood.

There's often water in it without the fountain running. well actually there's never water in it. But when there is, sometimes the fountain part isn't on.

It seems like once it's soaped, they wait 5 years until the school is purged of all those who witnessed it.

the bubbles in it today are not bubbles some hooligan put in, those kind of bubbles overflow the fountain, these are bubbles that clean the fountain for a while. I watched the maintenence people put them in.

It was turned back on yesterday...i was going to post something about it....but didn't care that much...I am glad they put it back on...i always thought to myself if they aren't going to put it back on, at least take it away...

I know the bubbles have been played out, but are they really THAT bad for the fountain???

I'm not the authority on water pumps by any means, but I've been told that the detergents people use are pretty bad for the ones in the fountain.

That could just be a line, but even if it is, the bubbles are still old and boring.

Unless there were girls frolicking in the bubbles.

Then it would be amazing.
