If you want to talk ASUN smack or ramble ad nauseum about your favorite pro or major college teams, this is the place to let it rip.

The NBA gives me something to watch when I'm not watching boxing or backyard wrestling.

If it was the National Bojangles Association I'd care a whole heck of a lot.

Go sit through a middle school girl's basketball game where the final score is 18-12 and tell me you love any type of basketball.

and to be honest i was slightly exaggerating about middle school basketball....i just love basketball....

Oh, I knew you meant men's basketball. I was just trying to bait you into saying that so the PC freaks on here can call you sexist and they'd get off of my back for a couple days.

I hate women's basketball too.

I used to like watching the NBA. I try to force myself to watch games now. In all honesty, I enjoyed watching the last round of The Masters more than I have any NBA game this year.

Kevin Garnett makes a lot of money.

Top 5 overpayed players, besides everyone of them

1. Allen Houston...How does he make 20 million a year?
2. Michael Finley...Has never done anything to be the leagues third highest paid player
3. Chris Webber...enough said
4. Brian Grant...I never though having no offensive game whatsoever would be valued so much
5. Eddie Jones...hasn't been good in like 6 seasons

man, their owners must be ticked

I don't follow pro-hoops at ALL, but other than Webber- I have never heard of ANY of those guys

thats ridiculous.

I think all of SJ's posts should be deleted from the women's forum.

by the way, I normally hate the NBA. I watch some games to see former Huskies. But this Mavs/Warriors series has been very entertaining. The games in Oakland have been like a college atmosphere. They have a very good crowd. I wonder what makes them different from the rest of the country.

Forbes did a list for people under 30. Of course there were some google people on there but KG was also on there with 110 in his bank account. He was the richest NBA player. I couldnt believe out of Jay-z, Sean Puffy Combs and J-Lo, Pdiddy is the richest

I love those Forbes lists. Theres a woman from Boonsboro on there for the richest women in the US.

critic, your challenge is the dumbest thing I've ever read.

I hate watching women's basketball but I support Liberty sports. I want to see us do good, I just don't want to watch it personally.

medic, you only recognized webber's name?! wow!

i don't keep up with pro sports period. i'm all about some college basketball and college football. IMO seems like the players play a lot differently in college than they do in pro sports. obviously there is different drive and motivation. college players seem to hustle more, and have more reason to hustle, than the pros. not that pro atheletes do not hustle (i watched one of the nba playoff games last week, and Deng was ALL over the floor), but college guys seem to have a different fire under them.

Brian Grant got a ridiculous deal after his mild success with the Blazers against the Lakers in the late 90s. He played Shaq somewhat decent in that series and the Blazers threw a bazillion dollars at him.

well obviously. but if i was playing to try to make it to the pros, as oppose to playing in the pros, i think i'd have a different mentality. the professional guys are making wads. seems like their level of contentment with their team and gameplay is a lot different (on a lower level) than the level of contentment a college ball player strives for (a higher level).
