break the Guinness World Record for the World’s Largest Coconut Orchestra.

The SPAMALOT team will teach members of the public how to ‘clip-clop’ in time to the
Python classic Always Look on the Bright Side of Life prior to the record breaking
attempt which will take place in Trafalgar Square at 7pm. To be assured a pair of
exclusive Monty Python’s SPAMALOT coconuts and possibly a place in the history books,
you will need to have registered at one of a number of check points in Trafalgar Square
by 6.30pm.

The world's largest coconut orchestra, led by two Monty Python stars, has made it into the Guinness World Records book.

A total of 5,567 people converged on London's Trafalgar Square to break the previous record of 1,789 people gathered in one location playing coconuts. They were conducted by actors Terry Jones and Terry Gilliam and the cast of the Monty Python musical Spamalot.
