Why would he be taunting the crowd anyway, it was all Liberty fans? If anything, I can tolerate a little "let's get excited" but there was certaintly nothing to that nature.

He wasn't taunting the crowd. He was saying, "He's got nothing on me. I got him on lock down." or something of that nature.

There is nothing wrong with trying to get the crowd fired up and maybe that is what he tryed to do and not attempt to intimitate the opponent since the opponent is LU. Nice to see there was good play and no injuries. The crowd was good 4.5K I believe. Not sure how this compares to last year but when you compare it to the spring games at Delaware and William and Mary which didn't even draw 2000 that is very good crowd for a spring game.

Steve, he was show boating. That's what it was.

The crowd was much bigger than last year.

agreed.

and by that point I had stood up (behind TDDance, of course) and was yelling "just shut up already, and tuck your shirt in"

I was not impressed with that nonsense.

No, because everyone else gets mad because you're absolutely stupid on the matter. You're spitting out stuff that Dunton told you and every single person knows that. Kevin Keys is a great person, has been very polite to the members of this board, and is doing the best job in marketing that this school has ever had. For you to even hint that he isn't doing his job right is laughable and shows everyone that nothing you say on the matter should be taken seriously.

Talked to Mr. Keys several times over the weekend and came away very impressed.

Not to mention Barber and Rocco. WOW- if you can be in the same room as these guys and NOT come away pumped for LU athletics, you have a heart of stone!

Good things are happening on the mountain, indeed.

a spectacular day on the mountain. it was great to meet brysON G, schfourteenteen, cider jim, postman, flamesfilmguy, flafan, and if i left out anyone i apologize. all the regulars it was excellent to see you guys too. the tailgate was a huge success. i would especially like to thank flameshaw for the steaks. and to everyone who brought food and drink. we had enough food to feed an army!! the hillbilly golf was most excellent. (SJ is horrible and brysOn is pretty good). we had many compliments on the tailgate and our banner...btw, thanks to proto for the other banner...we will have it up for the next game. as far as our location for the fall , nothing has been decided. jeff barber, kevin keys, bob good, and mickey guridy (who still works in the dept) came by and thanked us for our support. they did not have to do that and i appreciate it, so even if you do not like kevin, i would appreciate if you did not bash him. BTW, that kid you guys were referring to was paul. his father is a new school of engineering prof and his folks were in town looking for a house. he was a good kid, and he looks fwd to coming to liberty next year. now to the game, i thought we looked pretty good. brock did overthrow a few guys, but looked pretty good. the running game was ok, and the O-line is freakin huge! the D looked OK, but the showboating from kent hicks was ridiculous. in a regular game he could have been flagged. stevev, i have no problem with enthusiasm, but what he was doing was unacceptable. in any regard, spring games are great and you get to see quite a bit, but we really wont know till the fall as to how we will really be. i will say this..confidence is really high as it should be and we could be in for a very special year! BTW, i will post my pics later today.
