IPTV received some upgrades today that weren't scheduled to happen until this weekend. In addition to the upgrade, ESPN is now available on the system.

Just thought I'd point it out.

I have no idea. I don't have anything to do with that system really, but the guys who do were in here earlier and mentioned ESPN. I thought FlameFans would be particularly happy about that.

I think this is simply one of the greatest things for Liberty admin and if they arent already behind this they would be. One of the biggest issues with the dorms is the issue with the TV....this is slowly solving it.

Big ups to anyone involved with this...is it LU IT?

It is supported by the school. Maintenance and operations are a combined effort of Media Services and Information Services.

Isn't that what alumni circa 2001 and previous called "bunny ear" antenna or "try to figure out how to get the dorm building next to you not to interfere with your signal" antenna so you can get the three central Virginia stations and PBS?

Don't wet your pants just yet, but I believe ESPN numero dos may also be showing up on IPTV very soon.

Also, the upgrade they were doing was so they could switch signal providers. The picture quality should look somewhat better and be more consistent now.
