Unless RMK brings in an impact player we don't yet know about, IMHO next years starting lineup will be a no-brainer. TJ and BJ in the backcourt with Anthony at small forward and Alex in the middle. I think Rell will get the start at the 4 spot due to his being a senior, but Tyler will probably play more minutes.

Porter should see spot duty as a defensive specialist only.

If Winters doesn't return, then we'll need another big body to go along with Ace and Big Russ. Even with the losses of Blair and Brewington, we are still loaded at the three gaurd positions and we have perimeter strenth at the four if we need it.

It looks like McKay has at least one, possibly two or three scholarships left to give. It should be fun.

Baker and Campbell can set picks just as well, plus they add punch to our scoring and rebounding. I'd be suprised if Porter is used for anything other than a spot defender.

Rell is a senior and a team captain and leader. I think he will start, but his minutes may be down with Tyler's development. I don't see how we can even project Campbell's role. He didn't even play much at Hargrave. Yes, I know all of their starters have scollies to high-major programs, but it's still hard to say a guy who rode the pine in prep school will play any major role as a D1 freshman.

Where would TJ go? D2? I can't see it, and I really doubt he'll be able to go pro right now. He's in a different situation than Brew, who got a chance to showcase flashes of what he can do this year.

but if he was not married and did not have kid he would be living on campus for free, correct??

Actually, scholarship athletes that live off campus do receive a stipend for rent and basic expenses. That's completely standard at NCAA schools. Having two kids living with you, however, is not standard and there is a cap on how much stipend aid a student can receive. Maybe the two extra mouths to feed had more to do with it.

To my knowledge, TJ would have no D1 options (regardless of academic standards or lack thereof ) because he has only 1 year of elegibility left and has already used his redshirt/transfer year. Clearly his best opportunity to show he is a pro prospect would be to stay at LU.
