I really really like a comparison a NBA analyst made on ESPN...he said you choose Kevin Garnett or Shaq...he said you never pass up on a true big man with so much potential simply b/c we haven't even seen him at 100% this year...he's been using his left!!!!

I vote Oden

I go Oden b/c he seems to still play timid... he also changes the game without scoring... AND... most of the season he's only used his weak hand... And there are a lot of swing men... how many GREAT bigmen are in the league?

Big men win you championships but I think Durant will be in the all-time greats conversation. It's hard to pass up on that.

I know it's hard to project but are you thinking he'll be better than KG...in my mind he'll be lucky to even get to that level...and look at what KG has done alone...

Durant by far!! I have watched several Texas games and several Ohio State games this season and Oden is alright, but vastly over rated....maybe he could be good someday...but Durant is going to be amazing....he hit shots that nobody else can, and the kid can play defense too

Oden as terrible footwork, and travels at least 2 times a game it seems.....It will take a lot of me to be sold on Oden

You're looking at what KG would have been if he were forced to attend college for a year.

he's put up 16/10 and 3.5 blocks a game with one hand....what about that is not impressive...

Yup...every team has a "KG like" player...yeah some most will fall fairly short of those type numbers...but how many have a "Shaq like" player?

Big men might win you some championships, but Michael Jordan type players win them in bunches over a LONG period of time. Durant has shown he is in the same field as Lebron and Jordan were at his age.

why so he could be the #1 instead of #2...and it's not even 100% he'll be #2

yeah just ask clyde drexler, allen iverson, vince carter, tmac, paul pierce, and ray allen....they've all won them in bunches...oh wait...

whereas the best big man the league has ever seen either got their rings or contended for it in the finals year after year....

I'm with Mallet on this. Good centers are hard to find. Dominant centers are almost a once-every-five-years thing and Ewing missing out on the Finals was the exception. Shaq, Duncan, David Robinson, Hakeem, Kareem, Moses all played for and won rings. Motumbo doesn't count.

PE just had the unfortunate luck to play during the "jordan" era of basketball....

I 399% think that Oden should and will be the Number 1 pick in the draft this year. I would bet my house on it. (It would be easy to pay, because you could just send a truck and roll it out of the park). Big men are rare - athletic swingmen are not. Yes, he might be good, but so was McCants, Marvin Williams, Kwame Brown, Stromile Swift. He is not in the same league with Labron and Jordan. JORDAN??? Just to mention any player in the same sentence is ludicrous.

Oden is the best 7'0'' to come out in a while. Hands down - With the first pick in the NBA draft, the ___________ selects Larry Blair, 6 Foot Guard from Liberty University (':D')

Yeah, I forgot about the Houston series. I was thinking of the year that Ewing got hurt and sat the bench in street clothes watching Marcus Camby choke against the Spurs.
QB Competition

We have some strong points (not many) but overall […]

Bowling Green

We need to play more physical. Lost that with JSU […]

Charlie Kirk

But all the comments are that he wasn't a leftist.[…]

The poor guy didn’t make it very long. :)
