Why McKay has not called timeout in the first five minutes of the second half? KS is kicking their butts.

Flames win! In spite of questionable timeout management. Seems as though McKay knows at least little about coaching.

I mean, if we’re asking real basketball questions, start here: why didn’t McKay call a timeout in the first five minutes of the second half while Kennesaw was running a layup line and kicking Liberty’s teeth in? Momentum was gone, crowd was gone, and the score was sprinting the wrong direction.

And if ECC29 really had this elite “basketball mind” he loves to advertise, he might’ve noticed the actual problem: Kennesaw got up 20 more shots. That doesn’t happen because of vibes or officiating conspiracies — it happens because Liberty was getting worked on the offensive glass. Extra possessions = extra shots = scoreboard telling the truth.

So yeah, when you miss:
• the timeout issue
• the rebounding disparity
• and the basic math of shot attempts

…it’s probably time to retire the expert label. At this point, my takeaway is simple: ECC29 is officially irrelevant when it comes to basketball takes.

Not that I don’t care about your middle school mentality of arguing. I was merely making a sarcastic question. McKay should have called a timeout at least one timeout in that first 5 minutes. KSU was kicking their butts. Offensive rebounds was 25-4 in favor of KSU. This is not sustainable if they keep this up for the rest of the season. But a win is a win.
