Pretty sure both could play if needed but no need to play them for a game that is of minimal value.

I feel like they will play some next weekend. Haven’t heard much on their recovery of late other than an initial “they will be ready by the start of the season on restricted minutes.” BTW- So glad basketball season is here!

I personally am always glad when basketball season is here, but I have to say football is looking up a bit.

Smith is 100% physically (his injury was 18 months ago) but McKay described him as having a "long runway" as far as getting back to being what he was on the court.
Ihnen is is expected to have a minutes cap.
