Second, He did not learn from the last game success. He limited Moore’s minutes in the first half. Then when she played more minutes in the 3rd quarter, they had the best quarter of the game. Green is attached to Aegisdotter and Pien. Pien made too many mistakes and she is slow. WKU is not that good. They were lucky to get a win and a couple of players got hot. That was no coaching genius today. If people can actually see the inside part of a basketball game, then you would know my point. It’s time to pass it on to another coach. I would give him some credit for recruiting Mills and Stout. I’ve said in the beginning that those players have the skill set to compete at this level. But they also went to LCA and had all the intention to come to LU. It did not take much to recruit them. The program needs a coach that can draw better players and stop recruiting slow European players.I'll continue to support Coach Green until he's ready to retire. And I have a feeling 99% of Liberty fans and the administration will too. Perhaps you can find another team to support that will listen to your expert opinions.

As my Mama used to say, “Nobody likes a know-it-all.”
flamehunter wrote: ↑March 9th, 2025, 5:05 pm A different opinion fueled by an obvious bias for or against someone is not at all what that quote is referring to.Sounds like that can be portrayed as someone moving the goal post whenever they please. How is it "obvious"? Is it because the majority agree with you based on favoring that specific person who's of topic? Seems like folks are getting too emotional and assuming that the person's opinion about the coach's action on the court is the same as belittling his character as a whole.

The rest of your post makes no sense.flamehunter wrote: ↑March 9th, 2025, 5:05 pm A different opinion fueled by an obvious bias for or against someone is not at all what that quote is referring to.Sounds like that can be portrayed as someone moving the goal post whenever they please. We don’t know if your suggestions would have helped or not. What we do know is that what Green did, whether you like it or not, was win the toughest conference they’ve ever been in. That deserves something more than nitpicking
flamehunter wrote: ↑March 9th, 2025, 9:02 pm And yet here we are, winning the regular season in a better conference and you still beat the same drum, failing to give him any credit for a remarkable season. Forgive me for being a little skeptical of your intentions.Other than MTSU, you really believe that the other CUSA women’s basketball team are legit? Only 5 teams has a winning record. At least 3 of those did not play anyone legit. You say I beat the same drum, it is because it’s the same every year. It’s the same slow players he recruits every year. His decision making as of late is very questionable. He might have a chance this year for conference championship but comes playing against top school, the team does not have athletic abilities to compete. You maybe satisfied winning against low level teams. I am talking about raising the level of the program to compete against the bigger school.
ECC29 wrote: ↑March 9th, 2025, 10:01 pmWe have to slowly get better for a few years, and then maybe we can get to do so. We have to "wait our turn, " then maybe althletic players will want to come here without any effort from the coach(es) . I mean, have you seen our facilities?! It's as good and even better than some P4 schools! That alone should make the good players want to come to this school!flamehunter wrote: ↑March 9th, 2025, 9:02 pm And yet here we are, winning the regular season in a better conference and you still beat the same drum, failing to give him any credit for a remarkable season. I'm pretty sure that we could go to the national title game with Coach Green, lose in triple overtime and you would still say he's not the one to lead us to the next level. You be you and be miserable as a "fan" of the Flames and I'll enjoy watching them play where we are at and rooting for them and love that we are more than a business at LU. It's about changing lives as well as winning and bringing glory to God whatever happens.flamehunter wrote: ↑March 9th, 2025, 9:02 pm And yet here we are, winning the regular season in a better conference and you still beat the same drum, failing to give him any credit for a remarkable season. Men’s basketball coach McKay is changing lives at the same time a better coach. The program can get someone else to elevate the program and can change lives for players through Christ. In my opinion, the program still need a coach that can bring in better athletes.ECC29 wrote: ↑March 9th, 2025, 10:01 pmGotcha.
