The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE),[note 1] officially the U.S. DOGE Service Temporary Organization, is a temporary organization under the United States DOGE Service, formerly known as the United States Digital Service.[1][2] Despite the name, DOGE is not a federal executive department, the creation of which would require the approval of the U.S. Congress.[3]

It’s like he gets paid every time he uses the word Armchair Couch or Coach. Apparently a double bonus for putting two of the word together in a phrase
His baseline quota though are …… quotation marks :D

Look, this ole fat LU Armchair Coach has to get some sleep—I can’t stay up all night posting, as much as I’d love to stir the pot. And yes, I’m very aware of the DOGE; Elon’s been sliding into my DMs trying to recruit me for his next big project. But hey, even the busiest armchair coach needs their rest... for those next hot takes! Yeah, I’m the old, fat LU Armchair Coach. I might not be able to sprint down the court, but I can sure run my mouth from the comfort of my recliner!

When you get to be my age, it’s hard to sleep, pee all hours of the night and it’s like a newborn baby having their days and nights mixed up. 9:56 pm

“Ah yes, the late-night struggle—where the only thing running more than our offense is my bladder. At this point, I’ve just embraced the armchair coaching lifestyle: nap when I can, analyze Liberty basketball at all hours, and accept that a good night’s sleep is as rare as a ref actually giving us a fair whistle.

Maybe this is just training for the 2025 season—if the Flames are up grinding in the gym, it’s only right that we’re up breaking down their future dominance from the comfort of our recliners. Who needs sleep when you’ve got Liberty hoops and a fridge full of midnight snacks?”

Great win at KSU last night, but I gotta be honest—there’s no way my bladder could keep up with the flames! Between the very few fast breaks, the alley op dunks, the offensive rebounds LU gave up was destroying my nerves, I was already planning my bathroom sprint at each media timeout in the second half!

Anyone outside of me hoping that we can climb to an 11 or 12 seed and get a play in game in Dayton? It may put us at a disadvantage for the round 1 game but I would love the exposure to the program and a more likely "win" in a tournament game.

Thoughts?

An auto bid as an 11 or 12 seed won’t be in the Firsr Four. That’s four the lowest AQs and lowest at larges.

I think this is at least the second time you've said something like this. You might want to have your prostate examined.

I really hope we can find a way to win on Saturday. Anything can happen during the conference tournament but being able to claim a conference championship for the 6th time in 7 years would be a great feeling.

Agreed. I was slightly surprised to hear McKay downplayed it saying 1st or 2nd are pretty much the same for the tournament. That is true but first place in the regular season still matters.

If we were a multi-bid league, I'd agree with the idea that winning the regular season matters. That would almost guarantee a tournament berth. The real champion is determined in the conference tournament and the NCAA tournament though, so I tend to agree more with HCRM. Is it an accomplishment? Sure. Does it mean anything to you though in terms of benefits other than a few social media posts? No. HCRM did what he's supposed to in downplaying accolades in pursuit of the real goals, which is to win championships.

If football goes out and wins first place in the regular season only to turn around and lose the Championship game, does the regular season win really matter? No.
