Targeting should have been called on Texas. That non call probably gave Texas the win.
I despise Texas and Ohio State.
I can get this argument with how inconsistent the targeting call is across CFB. In a vacuum, against the letter of the law, there was no case for a targeting call on the play by the UT safety. Watch the play and ask yourself, what could he have done differently in attacking the play in front of him. Didn't launch, didn't use his helmet as a weapon, didn't lower his helmet, etc.
