I don't see them cancelling game... I'm still planning on going down for the game.

Some on the school in Boone website are saying that they've heard it's been cancelled. I haven't heard anything on our side yet.

I know they say it won’t be rescheduled…. But I propose Friday night Oct 18. Unfortunately, our off week is during that Tues/Wed stretch and Apps is in between Sat games. A Friday night game kind of splits the difference. It would create a short week before Kennesaw.

Because of the 12-game max for regular season, we will need to watch which other teams cancel to determine who our potential opponents can be. I suspect there will be a flood of them by the end of the day today. This storm is packing a punch.

This cancellation means that we will only play one game in a month directly in the middle of the season. Really strange circumstances but gives us some flexibility for a possible reschedule. I assume the calls are being shouted out fast & furious by Ian & Mickey.

Prayers to those in Boone and the whole area. Sounds like a lot of damage and clean up that will take weeks to months to clean up. Never imagined that far inland would be as bad. How cool would it be for LU to aid in the relief efforts on the ground?

Is it true Ian anticipated the weather and tried to get App to move the game to an alternative site, and we pay for Apps travel? If so, Salter and Cooley might be right, Apps dodging us. Apps CFP hopes are gone and nothing matters to them other than conf games. Why reschedule us, and pay us to come to Boone.
