6-2 is better than 5-3, 4-4, 3-5, 2-6, 1-7 or 0-8.

But i wonder how many 6-2 teams, are 2 plays away from being 8-0. Probably only 1, Liberty. I think Liberty could beat all the 6-2 teams, except Texas A&M.

Good point. Liberty is literally 2 plays away from being 8-0. That would mean a top 20, maybe top 15 ranking at this point in the season. Syracuse is a great measuring stick for the Liberty team. Syracuse is a legitimately competitive ACC team and we should have won that game by 2 scores. It was a let down. The ULM loss was just a bad, bad situation. Liberty needs to own that. We played down to a weak opponent. That opponent played out of their minds and took advantage of sloppy LU turnovers. We still should have prevailed, but that loss does not define our program.

I think Liberty beats NIU by 2 scores in a head to head matchup. Who knows. Maybe we'll get to play them in a Bowl Game!

That 6-2 NIU team is now 6-3. They lost to Kent State 52-47 last night.

I watched every snap. Entertaining game. Terrible defense on both sides of the ball. This game was likely a preview of the MAC Championship game as NIU will likely win the MAC West and Kent State likely to win the MAC East.

Sounds like a scintllating matchup. I can see why WKU & MTSU would be eager to join the MAC.
