What a great two hours. The show has really used the personal relationship angle very well this season. I actually sympathized with Morris, and hope he has a chance to redeem himself before the day is out. The chase scenes were really good too—Milo is my new hero.

Next week is going to be INTENSE. I can't wait.

I have had games the last couple of Mondays and just now got caught up on the back episodes. It was killing me not getting on here and checking notes:

1. THe DRILL - OUCH!!! MRS Purple was shooting out puns like she was me!! I think I could have held out through the soft tissue phase, but if they would have gone cartlidge or bone I would be ALL THIERS
2. I REALLY thought the blonde was a double agent. She kept asking too many questions. And now she is dead!
3. I love Morris. He is my new favorite character.
4. The "Kill the President" theme is getting worn out a bit. I hope they are plannning a good twist with that.
5. Dare I say I KNEW Jack's dad was bad??
6. Hopefully, Jack and his sister in law get "back together" as it were. OF course we now know that it is NOT Jack's boy since it has been 20 years since they last were "together". Baring some type of tryst, which would be SO delightful
7. Speaking of "other" tv shows. Sci Fi fans should recognize Buchannon as the Colonel on SPACE: Above and Beyond a GREAT show ahead of its time (sort a like Firefly). LOVED that show, sort of a Battlestar Galactica (Newer) closer to home.
8. Ohhhh yes who WOULDN"T want to seee Chloe get dirty.................Oh did you guys mean in the story line?
9. Thank the heavens we were not subject to Walid and the whing brat "Little P" as she is known on the street.
10. Oh the Russian General played ANOTHER Russian general/minister in another underrated movie "The Saint"

2. Thank you for reminding me where i saw the russian guy at last....it was killin me.
3. I really think Jack is going to have to kill his dad......which may cause him to ultimatly crack at the end of the season.
4. I do think the Kill the president theme may take a weird twist.....
5. The blonde shooting McCarthy was well played, i was 100% believing she might free Morris but capping him and dumping him in the middle of the street was a nice touch

I had been disappointed with the last few episodes, but then... BAM! What a great two hours. Everything was setting up for those last two.

I really thought that the "Chloe's husband as the nuke programmer" was a lame angle, but they more than made up for it with the torture scenes (especially the drill bit).

1) I really don't know how Jack held out for two years against the Chinese... what, they don't have power drills in Beijing?
2) I screamed when the blonde killed McCarthy.
3) It's hard to criticize Morris after what he went through, but he didn't know how to program a dud?
4) I think Gary Payton is starting to become a better actor; he's looking like a stronger President. I like when he yelled at Assad.
5) Do you think Jack's gonna kill his dad?.. I was surprised to see that he admitted he was a bad guy to Jack's sister-in-law.
6) Jack's sister-in-law has really great eyes.
7) Speaking of other shows, what about Audrey Raines? Wasn't her show cancelled?
I like Chloe better as a blonde.

I loved Ed. I wish the reruns were still on. She looks like she's gained some weight since then though. You guys like the torture scene drill bit. I guess it was okay, but I'm getting weary of all the torture myself, not that the episodes aren't great though.

I think Wayne role is improving as well and he is becoming more bearable. I'm not positive they are talking about killing him though. They never actually said that, but that is what I'm thinking. I think it will have a twist though, and maybe it doesn't have to do with killing him...because that is getting kind of old.

Last nights episode was very good in my opinion. Welcome back former President Logan, his demands for giving up the Russian guy should be interesting. The bomb under the current presidents podium should also be interesting when/if it goes off. So many story lines are evolving at once, was i the only person who either forgot or didn't know Morris was once married to Chloe? Also the good looking IT women, is she about the only one at CTU we have little to no detail about this season, her parts seem to be very brief and divulge very little about her except for her heritage so far. Also how did we go a whole episode with NO Fayed this time, that was quite interesting, and how did the Russians get out of that house with all the computers so quickly instead of being found since Jacks sister-inlaw did give them the right address??

Bauer vs. Bauer is going to be an interesting mathup right up till the end.

I don't think we're looking at Jack vs. his dad, per say. They will be racing to see who can get to Gridenko first. I think if Jack's dad wanted to take on Jack, he could have and would have killed him.

Some conspiracy theories out there is that Tony Almeida didn't die -- he's still around. Now THAT would be a twist. Will never happen but I'd probably wet my pants.

That's what makes her character so important. She has the trust of the hero, which makes her indispensible, but you cringe everytime she walks on the screen. It causes you anxiety. That makes a good character.[/quote]

Yes i laughed outloud when Marylin says "why do you think he will help us" and Jack responds " Cause he wants to live" - i think thats the quote and it was overdone a bit, but still good.

Wow, I have been behind on my 24. I like to have plenty of time to watch and absorb. Did someone say they can imagine Chloe being dirty? So can I

1. Prez Logan is BACK. How did he not win ANY type of award for portrying that role? He is as crooked as Bill Clinton's.....well you know.
2. Logan is not long for this country. I love the "I have re found my faith" line. I hope Jack shoots him between the eyes.
3. I can't get away from the VP being the guy who was on The Blue and The Grey back in the 80's (Or the Bomber pilot in By Dawn's Early Light)
4. Morris is the BOMB!! Pardon the pun. He is the best firgure on the show right now

7. On an unrelated topic. The young wife in THE UNIT was also the "weapon" in Firefly/Serenity.
