Hahaha I was at my Nephew’s first birthday watching it on silent. On the block I turned my phone off and then texted a friend I was so mad. He replied “Hope you didn’t turn it off.” I frantically got it on in time to see the winning kick!

I think so, looked to me as if most of team stopped. Also I think several VT players slowed or stopped also.

Doc would be so proud. Enjoy this moment guys. We really have arrived. LU's potential really is unlimited in the coming years. Couldn't have asked for a better season so far. Not saying we are better than #9 BYU, but I'd say our resume at the moment is objectively better than theirs. We won't be quite that high in the rankings, but this is our signature win to show that we belong in the Top 25.

Seemed to me to be the case. Whole middle of LU line stood up and flat-footed. VT didn’t seem to hear, but then again everyone who goes to that Cow College in the Fields is a dummy.

Doesn’t surprise me at all that LU won today. Given the downward trajectory of VT’s program in recent years, LU was bound to pass them up. Only a matter of time. Not sure where VT goes from here. May never recover. And college football would be better for it all the more.

If I remember correctly us Notre Dame have the longest winning streaks in college football right now and WHEN ND loses tonight we are alone with the longest winning streak in college football at this moment.
