Yes indeed. Anyone who doesn't wear an N95 mask is definitely a fascist, racist, nose-picker, and most likely a Neo-Orthodox Belgian Episcopalian--although I can't prove that one--but the fascist, racist, nose-picker definitely holds

Post Trump will be someone with the same goals for our nation, but will be able articulate it in a softer tone .... now that the old guard rep establishment is out of the way. That person will need Trumps endorsement. Ted Cruz, Mike Pence, Tim Scott?
Nikki Haley is the party's best prospect for 2024

stokesjokes wrote: October 30th, 2020, 11:33 am So this tells me 2 things: Trump's base is more fired up than Biden's, hence the big disparity in their rallys. However, the enthusiasm about voting against Trump seems to be more of a motivator than has been given credit for.
This is the sole reason I've thought Biden would win.
A Clemson lecturer named Jo Jorgensen is the ultimate reason that Trump lost:

Arizona % Vote:
Trump - 49.06%
Biden - 49.43%
Libertarian Candidate - 1.51%

Pennsylvania % of Vote:
Trump - 49.06%
Biden - 49.79%
Libertarian Candidate - 1.15%

Georgia % of Vote:
Trump - 49.24%
Biden - 49.52%
Libertarian Candidate - 1.24%

The Republican Party are fools if they do not assure that a Socialist Party Candidate is fully funded and is up and running in the next election in order to usurp votes from the Dems.

Guys, that's not the process. There's a whole structure in place in the event of a contested election. We'll just have to wait and see if it even comes to that.

It will be entertaining if it all comes down to that. If enough electors get split and it all moves to the Congress, we may end up with a President Biden and VP Pence. If it's not decided by Inauguration Day, then Pelosi becomes 46th President until the process plays out in Congress. She's definitely got her fingers crossed on that one. Only time will tell. Who knows?

You guys know where I stand on it, but at this point, even if the Trump team wins all of the lawsuits they’ve filed, none of them are big enough to change the outcome in any of the states. He’s filing lawsuits over 600 votes in places where he’s down by 50,000. Another thing to note- all of the lawsuits have been over procedural things, nothing alleging actual widespread fraud or conspiracy so far.

https://www.npr.org/2020/11/10/93311241 ... at-they-ve

That’s a decent round-up of what’s happened so far.

One good thing has come from the lawsuits, though, one of my favorite courtroom exchanges:

Judge Diamond: Are your observers in the counting room?

Trump lawyer: There's a non zero number of people in the room

Judge Diamond: I’m asking you as a member of the bar of this court: are people representing the Donald J Trump for president, representing the plaintiffs, in that room?

Trump lawyer: Yes.

Judge Diamond: I'm sorry, then what's your problem?

I actually would be ok with that. Biden won’t be able to function long so President Pence will continue Trumps policies but without the bombastic personality. That should soothe the feathers of many

If you're ok with it then I'll have to reconsider

None of this really matter. Biden/Harris is happening. Hopefully Trump loses interest in 4 yeaes and the Republican party can forget the Trump circus ever happened.

This GA recount has piqued my interest. I’ve settled in for 4 years of lockdowns Globalism and American Apology Foreign policy along with higher gas prices and maybe some new troop deployments. Things I didn’t miss the last 4 years. Trump won’t run again. Now Ivanka.....

I don't know about the Republican party...but Trump supporters aren't going to forget. Whether he runs are not, regardless of the outcome of this one, his supporters will believe he was cheated...and that alone will leave a bad taste for a while. I mean...Hillary's flock are still ticked and buying into the Russia, Russia, Russia. The measurement will be in 2022 with Congressional elections and some state offices. Trump will continue to endorse and stir up his base, which aren't going anywhere soon. If you see the house flip heavy red and the senate expand to the right....you'll have your answer.

If you look at the context of the tweet please show me where that is espoused

The tweet itself doesn’t speak to that. I’m wrong for implying it does.

However, when you look at the context the tweet was written in nationally, we’re in the midst of the “New Right” fighting to win and resorting to misinformation, name calling, and baseless accusations.

I’m all for Trump pursuing every challenge he wants to. That’s his right as the competitor who lost. If there was fraud, it needs to be exposed. But the tactics those on the “New Right” are using are just as bad as everything they complain the left does.
