I wouldn't be completely shocked if more students are leaning that way (away from Trump), especially with the JLFJR ties and resentment there, but I also wouldn't rule out kids being "funny" by plastering Biden signs around campus as an oxymoron. I've dealt with kids doing far dumber things for "entertainment".

Biden had been leading in Texas, but Carl Rove is convinced that Trump will carry Texas.

Mail in votes came in first which leaned Biden in a lot of these early counts. Have to keep that in mind when looking at early results.

Georgia will be Trump but still a ton of city/suburb votes to count there.

Arizona looks to be flipping.

Probably coming down to PA which will drag this thing on for way too long.

Biden is down by 90k votes with 40% outstanding for Virginia. Still counting NOVA votes, so he almost certainly carries the state as called. GA and PA have stopped counting for the night and will resume tomorrow morning. Trump was up about 200k votes in NC a little over an hour ago but its down to about 75k now. I think he'll pull it off, but its definitely one to watch. AZ just went to Biden, first time since 1996 it's been blue. All that to say, Trump is in a good spot for now but cant afford to give up much ground.

They've doubled down on AZ about 3 times over the last 45 minutes. The guy running the "call it" desk basically said there is 0% chance he is wrong and anyone questioning it is.

Glad I went to bed when I did. Virtually nothing has changed. With the rules in PA, Wisconsin and Michigan they delayed the counting of mail in votes until yesterday, it seemed pretty obvious this would be the case if it came down to those states.

I'm not sure why the president is trying to start the fraud narrative already. Especially when he could still very easily win those states. He also wants to make sure all the Arizona votes counted even though most of the votes left are mail in votes. I guess it is different if you're losing a state?

Anyways. Trump will win this election. I have been saying it all along. Some of you all and other "experts" had me thinking that wouldn't be the case but it seems pretty clear Trump's path to victory is much easier now than Biden's.

Regardless. It is going to be a long week and the nation is more divided than ever. Whoever does win, needs to really address that.

Idk about easiest for Trump, I’m looking at Fox News’ numbers right now and if things hold steady in Nevada and Wisconsin, all Biden needs is either Michigan or Georgia to flip. It looks like it’s a matter of time before Biden leads in Michigan and GA is very much in play. It would be wild for Biden to lose Florida, Ohio, and PA and still win, but that’s possible at this point.

I don’t see any projections that Trump gains from any of the late vote counts, but the margins are so thin that he wouldn’t need to gain much in the states that Biden is currently ahead either to take over.

And, once again, Trump has shown himself by declaring himself the victor and making these bogus fraud claims. I know his voters at this point knew who he was going in, but it’s still hard for me to square the support.

Yeah. That is a pretty cool tool. So a lot of Republicans are kind of pushing back a bit on Trump's rhetoric from last night. Which is good.

There is no need to play that card right now.

My hope - if Trump does indeed win this - is now that republicans have the Court and are looking at post-Trump elections in four years, they will begin to hold him to a more presidential standard. They don’t have to placate him as much, especially as some distance themselves in hopes of a 2024 run.
