This debate is pathetic. Biden is pitiful. Trump won’t shut up.

One of the advantages Trump has in this format is that he can just make up whatever he wants without being challenged on it, especially up against Biden who barely has enough capacity to put a sentence together without misspeaking.

I’m glad Jesus is king

When people wonder why 3rd Party candidates appeal so much to me, look no further than tonight's debacle.

All 3 of those men should be ashamed of themselves at how badly that went.

That is all. I'm tapping out of this thread until after the election. You all have fun.

Biden gave nothing on content. No plans nothing
Trump needed to back off a lot.
It was painful to watch. I THINK Trump was trying to pry the Far Left from Biden and point out that Biden’s been in Politics 47 years and nothing.
Early chatter seems like tie

Trump knows TV. He will go back and look at how he came off and adjust. Not sure Biden can do that.

I am by no means a Trump fan, but the average American watching that debate gives it to Trump, hands down. Biden is just plain untenable. What a mess the Democratic Party must be to have let this nomination happen.

Some of these patients that roll thru my work that are so mentally incapacitated that they can’t even tell me their own name come off as more articulate than Trump did tonight

Interesting. I didn’t watch the debate so I can’t speak one way or the other. My only rebuttal to this is anecdotal, but I got texts from four Trump voters talking about how he was being a three letter word for donkey.

Of those four, two of them said Biden came across more likable and while they were worried about the far left pulling him, they might like him more than Trump. One referenced Trump not denouncing white supremacy as a major issue.

On the flip side, one of them talked about how they felt Joe was slimy and willing to say whatever he needed to given a situation.

On twitter, you had guys like Matt Walsh and Ben Shapiro talking about how poorly Trump did.

I don’t think anyone won given the train wreck it apparently was.

My assumption is that the average American voter likes Trump because he’s belligerent and a donkey. “He’s a fighter” and “bully the bullies” kind of rhetoric.

The main thing I care about is the policies each plans to carryout in office. But ... last night Joe Biden told the sitting president of the United States to "shut up, man". Refused to denounce Antifa.Could not name a single law enforcement agency that supported him. Rrefused to answer why his son Hunter recieved 3.5 million dollars from a Russian billionaire. Refused to answer why his son Hunter was paid millions of dollars to be on the board of directors of a Ukranian energy company. As far as Hunter goes, I guess if your VP Dad's a player its, "money for nothing and chicks for free".

He didn’t refuse to answer why Hunter received the money. He flat out denied Hunter received any money. From Moscow or China.

Trump did have another “Very Fine People Hoax” moment and that seems what the Left is going to focus on.

Here is the controversial clip. He says he willl condemn it. But then is accused of not condemn it. Yet Joe Biden is mum on Antifa etc

He has use executive order declared the KKK a domestic terrorist group.

And he's clearly stated that there are good people on both sides of the statue debate.

What's even worse, Biden called the sitting president of the United States a "CLOWN" twice. Biden has no respect for the office of president.

I can understand Biden’s frustration since Trump refused to even try to respect the mutually agreed upon format of the debate, not allowing Biden to speak for basically the first hour, but he can’t do that. One thing Biden had going for him was the perception of decency and civility compared to Trump, but hard to keep that up when he starts stooping to Trump’s level with some of those comments.

What we need in the next debates is the ability to mute the person who isn’t supposed to be speaking. Maybe they should do the next debate on Microsoft Teams :P

While I agree a candidate shouldn't be throwing names like that, this is a hypocritical charge against Biden considering the current president's lack of respect for the office of president.

Nomination is rigged to give Harris the presidency if they somehow manage to steal election, with all these mail in votes. Biden will eventually resign.

Trump didn’t do himself any favors by stepping on Bidens answers.
I thought Wallace did an ok job. I thought he would have been tougher on Biden if Tru,p wouldn’t have kept pre-emptying him

Again - I didn’t watch - but one of the sentiments from my Trump friends was that every time Wallace had Biden cornered, Trump would jump in and keep Biden from looking awful. If he would’ve just stayed quiet Biden would’ve dug the hole for himself.

trump "won" the debate clearly but i'm not sure if he won any more voters (they say that very little is changed after debates)

There is a difference between saying you will and actually doing it. Every chance he has been given to do it, he has either ignored it, refused to, or said he will then never acts on it.

The Proud Boys are actually using his statements to “stand back, stand by” as a slogan and permission to incite more violence. That’s not a condemnation.

Trump won because he lost none of his enthusiastic base. He also refreshed everyone's memory of what Biden's 1994 crime bill did to some and his effort to right it. And then Biden rolled the Bernie bros and AOC's under the bus. And said he is not in agreement with his VP picks new green deal.
