Relevant portion: “ Former White House Press Secretary [Sarah Huckabee-Sanders] wrote in her book—"Speaking for Myself: Faith, Freedom, and the Fight of Our Lives Inside the Trump White House"—that Trump told her the video for 'November Rain' was "the greatest music video of all time" and made her watch it with him in the Oval Office to prove his point, though she "didn't disagree."”
Any thoughts @PurpleHaize? Seems to be a couple of your areas here

Maybe he is just old and doesn't have the energy to deliver punch lines.Or it’s an old punch line and it got the energy it deserved

It empowers conspiracy theories.Yeah, that is a valid point. It is easier for me to shurg it off and just role my eyes but it certainly is effective in firing up the fringes.
On the flip side, it concerns me because of the people who take everything he says seriously because it empowers more fake news witch hunt stories.
That’s why I think he’s so dangerous. Because he doesn’t think about what he says, he empowers the fringes on both sides to keep going even further.
thepostman wrote: ↑September 13th, 2020, 3:12 pmI agree that his energy isn’t the same. But for a dude his age it’s off the charts. You also aren’t dealing with the same types of crowds. If he was able to hold rallies inside packed arenas like the last 3 years I think the energy would be therePurple Haize wrote: ↑September 13th, 2020, 3:08 pmYou give him too much credit. It isn't a shot. At his age, I plan on sitting at a lake with a fishing pole. Haha

He isn't as bad of a candidate as Hillary was but he is still pretty bad. Which is why he won't win. Keeping his appearances will give him the best shot to somehow pull this off. He isn't going to pull it off so it won't end up mattering.Joe Biden is a worse candidate, but Hillary would’ve been a worse President, IMO. The future of a HRC-led USA was frightening. Six months ago, I believed that a Biden win wouldn’t be that bad and would t change the country that much and would absolutely be a single-term presidency.
