Good evening friends! It's been a while and I'm hoping you can help.

Trying to buy my Dad a Father's day gift and he would loooooooooove an AGG jersey. I have tried ordering through the Redskins fan store AND the NFL store. They aren't making his jersey yet and the custom jersey only allows for 10 characters. Any advice? Thought about getting AGG on the back but that seemed lame. Please helppppppppppppp!!!!!!!!!!

Find a RGIII Redskins Jersey, take it to embroidery shop, remove lettering and replace it with AGG name.

I just did an online chat with Fanatics to see if they offered any customizations longer than 10 letters/including hyphens and they said it was not possible. Buying a blank jersey and having it customized locally may be your best/only option.

Read and acknowledged

That team has been bad forever, maybe a whole new re-image will help...

Nah, Dan Snyder is still the owner.

The only people whose opinions should matter on this (indigenous Americans) have been polled at least once, and if I recall about 90% said the name does not offend them.

There have been multiple polls and studies done over the years and they come back with various data.

I don't really have a strong opinion on it. If it changes, no big deal. If it doesn't, again no big deal. Like I said, the Redskins could use some rebranding after 3 decades of not being relevant, haha.

Because of this or a combination of things?

I haven't watched as much in the last few years but that has a lot to do with the style not being so fun for me to watch and the Dolphins have been bad for so long.

If I wrote off every business I disagree with then my life would be pretty boring.

Me too. I have had NFL Sunday Ticket since season one. I just cancelled it and have also cancelled the MLB package with Direct TV. I am tired of supporting a bunch of prim a-donas and snowflakes.

When people told me they were giving up the NFL because of the actions of ten players a few years ago, I told everyone to calm down and chill out.

However, a professional sports league coming out and endorsing the ideals of a Marxist-racist organization? No way. I’m done. The NFL is not endorsing the statement. They’ve come out in full support of BLM the organization.

What country does the Black National Anthem represent? Will they be playing games there instead of London?

The Negro National Anthem was originally a poem by James Weldon Johnson, and it's very spiritual:

"Lift ev’ry voice and sing,
‘Til earth and heaven ring,
Ring with the harmonies of Liberty;
Let our rejoicing rise
High as the list’ning skies,
Let it resound loud as the rolling sea.
Sing a song full of the faith that the dark past has taught us,
Sing a song full of the hope that the present has brought us;
Facing the rising sun of our new day begun,
Let us march on ’til victory is won.

Stony the road we trod,
Bitter the chastening rod,
Felt in the days when hope unborn had died;
Yet with a steady beat,
Have not our weary feet
Come to the place for which our fathers sighed?
We have come over a way that with tears has been watered,
We have come, treading our path through the blood of the slaughtered,
Out from the gloomy past,
‘Til now we stand at last
Where the white gleam of our bright star is cast.

God of our weary years,
God of our silent tears,
Thou who has brought us thus far on the way;
Thou who has by Thy might
Led us into the light,
Keep us forever in the path, we pray.
Lest our feet stray from the places, our God, where we met Thee,
Lest, our hearts drunk with the wine of the world, we forget Thee;
Shadowed beneath Thy hand,
May we forever stand,
True to our God,
True to our native land."

Purple, if you would have read the first sentence of the linked article, it said "the United States."

Later in the article, it says that song is "featured in 39 different Christian hymnals, and is sung in churches across North America" and that it is sung to the melody of the "Star Spangled Banner."
