we can always count on @ballcoach15 for his great insight. LSU had nothing to do with our lack of turnovers. It was just LU's offense not showing up...

Certainly our offense struggled but LSU played us perfectly and are clearly the better team. This isn't a shot at our guys because we are still a top 40/50 team right now but we aren't quite at the point where we can beat teams with the length of LSU.

The biggest disappointment was our defense. They allowed too much penetration and offensive rebounds. You can't give a team like LSU so many extra chances.

We played poorly but we certainly didn't show no effort. LSU is just a better team. This is the danger of buying into the hype that we are better than we are. It will be ok guys.

All the pundits and doubters will say “See I told you do”. And you know what, they’d be right. Tough day but all programs have them. Look how many #1’s lost this year. Only thing we can do is keep playing the season out and see what happens but this one is frustrating for sure.

Now we really don’t have to worry about a top 25 ranking for awhile, and maybe that’s just okay.

You would’ve thought we lost by 30 with some of the comments here.

We turned the ball over too much (LSU with 23 off turnovers) and we shot the ball poorly. You do those two things and you’ll lose to anybody.

Back to earth, folks. Better to have a down game here than against a conference foe. We have a difficult time keeping a team that is very athletic out of the paint.

Lsu played up to their capability and we played really badly other than scottie and maybe georgie. Cuffee had the worst game of his career and had a ton of careless unforced turnovers.

Kiss being ranked goodbye. Time to regroup and get ready to run the asun table.

I would rather Scottie and Baxter Bell throw their weight more and take a chance on fouling out against a team like LSU.

The stupid turnovers was the most disappointing. It may have been a different games if we don't commit those. I've thought for a while that many times our shot selection is extremely poor at times, and many times I'm questioning McKay's substitutions. But as great as it would've been to go undefeated, the guys are entitled to an off game, especially against the likes of LSU. But nothing's changed. Our team is still very good. McKay is still a great coach, and our guys are still going to have a great season.

The defense was extremely disappointing. LSU had some long athletic players which obviously caused havoc on offense. But that shouldn’t have affected them playing defense

But I’ll wait till fraudcoach hears from someone who watched the game before I finalize my thoughts on what I saw :D

Speaking of conference, Lipscomb is looking pretty good a t Auburn right now.

I would guess a bunch. Vandy did it with a lot of success against us as well. I am assuming Wade and co. used that tape in game planning.

For Liberty to have won today, we would have had to play above average-to-excellent while LSU playing below average-to-poor. That did not happen today.

LSU is larger and more athletic than Liberty. Period. It was a match-up nightmare for us. We play LSU 10 times and beat them maybe 1-2 times.

Hopefully Liberty continues to grow the program with increasingly better recruits. We need the size and athleticism to compete with above average P5 schools.

I am glad all the "Poll Watching" conversations can end now. Let's take care of business in our conference and enter the NCAA with a well rounded, mature, senior-heavy team that makes some noise.

I’ve been scratching my head wondering why more teams haven’t done it. We are too patient offensively. Scoring so often late in shot clock, just token 3/4-court pressure should really affect us.
