As we've had on our verbal commit tracker for several months, Jolly will come in as more of a Rover/Safety than Linebacker. Freeze is also hopeful to bring in two JUCO LBs, as we have reported previously.

Just read that Karon Prunty will not take an official visit to Pitt. It is safe to say that they are out of the running. I would say it comes down to us, Tech and Kansas.

Most of us on this are well aware of the elite talent Freeze can recruit. This quote from jinxy, "if staff can convince him hf will be here are his top interests." says ALOT because guaranteed Karon is not the only one thinking this and I am not just talking about this recruiting class but future ones with even higher rated talent.

If Hugh Freeze signs an extension through 2026 for north of 2 million(expectation is he stays till 2026) then watch the dominoes fall on the recruiting trail. Again, IF he were to stay till 2026 we could be on the verge of some very special moments for our football program.

Dude is up to 266 and is solid! 315 on clean and jerk and 405 for 3 sets of 1 rep according to the video. This kid reminds me of a 20 pound heavier Tre'shaun Clark.

If he can run like Tre'shaun, we have a double Yahtzee! That's a power clean he is doing by the way, but it looked easy enough for him he might have been able to jerk it on a good day.

Most football strength coaches don't like their players to do overhead lifts with heavy weights. Too much risk vs reward. Same with dead lift. The lifts commonly done for max weight are power clean, hang clean, bench press and squat.

I am glad there are 3 LB's on the list. We need at least 2 of them. Picking up Matthews on the OL would be huge. Looks like OL and LB are the two positions we are in position to upgrade the most in.
