rewatched the game this morning...

1. Scottie was at 996 points going into the game and Naz laughed and was like he will have 1000 tonight. He ended with 998. Scottie isn’t Shaquille O’Neal and the back to the basket stuff isn't good offense for us in a lot of scenarios. I think his role this year is to beat up bad small ASUN teams and then be a third or fourth option against good teams.
2. Corner threes need to be a steady part of our shot diet .Lot of Wide open threes just didn’t go in in this game.
3. Every time Darius Mcghee goes up 13 feet and grabs a rebound I laugh. So bouncy.
4. Georgie off the pick and roll getting people headed towards the basket are great. Need Georgie, Cuffee, and Homesley to continue to make plays off the pick and roll. Plenty of opportunities to get easy looks for the roller (Scottie and Myo) when they are headed downhill. Chances for the ball handler to just take it all the way, and we’ve got the shooters to allow the ball handler to drive and kick.
5. Colton Reed. Former Manager. 3 minutes, -8. Not sure what that was about.
6. Both of the freshman play such smart defense. Timely doubles, hustle all over the court. They each had at least 3 stocks (Steal+Blocks) Really exciting duo to build around. Shiloh’s arms are very go-go gadgety.
