This defense makes me worried about the rest of the season. No way we beat BYU or UVA, and NMState is questionable with this play. UMass is a toss up.

O playing very well, great job running the ball, which will help the passing game later on. The D pretty much sucks. Can't tackle and has not blitzed yet. The DE are not containing the plays and it is opening up all kinds of holes. If we don't start tacking better, it is going to be a looooooong afternoon.

Real nervous about the second half with how long our Defense has been on the field along with Ajayi being injured. Depth is still an issue for us against FBS teams so we have to be on it to keep them from running away.

Playcalling on defense has been suspect as well. Going into zone coverage on 3rd and long is killing us. Soft Zone coverage will make any QB look like the next Tom Brady, no matter how bad they might be.

Rutgers has been horrible in the 2nd Half this year. Hopefully, Freeze and Symons can take advantage of that and make some defensive adjustments. However, I was fearful that our D would make a horrible QB and Offense look like a Heisman candidate and stellar offense. Unfortunately, that's a part of the Liberty Way.
