I think it's less than an hour from El Paso and Fort Bliss.

The last time we played them in the Burg we looked like the better and the deeper team. I think that gap has widened over the last year and our coaching talent improved as well. I look forward to a solid win and a blowout. Josh Adkins is not a better athlete than Tevaka and he is prone to throw bad INT's. Their running back is their best weapon and we must tackle him well.

Well, UNM put 55 up on them and we held UNM to 10...

Agreed. Might be different if they were going to PST location and had a noon tee time the next day. Hard to get to sleep night before and then get body moving early next morning. For this game, it might effect them the first morning they are back in Lynchburg.

More concerned that they get hydrated days before the game and stay that way.

I get jet lag going (driving) to Central Time Zone.

I recall when I went to Fort Bliss, TX in 1992, it took me about 2 weeks to get acclimated . The 2 mile run on APFT was hard, and I was in good shape. (Ft. Bliss is 47 miles from Las Cruces)

I don't know about you guys, but I for one am so pumped we didn't have to go back to back weeks to New Mexico like we did last year. That 2 hour time change happening in consecutive weeks can trick the body. Not to mention the altitude does play a role but I have really been impressed with Coach Dom and the work he has done. Plus, HCHF really relies on him when it comes to practice reps as well. This is not a knock on Turner Gill, but everything just seems way more professional and business like and organized this year.

I have a really good feeling about this weekends game against NM State. Can you guys say 3 touchdown difference!

Even players are talking about the "more professional manner" in which things are run now. Reference: See last weeks program.
