I thought it would help make this a little more enjoyable if I waited to post this about 2 days after the loss
. I know most of us are still scratching our heads about this one, but it is just one game.
So, without further delay who were your 3 favorite performances and why:
1. Frankie Hickson - Frankie ran with patience and power from the start to the finish. This kid has the kind of motor you want as a team-mate and it showed on Saturday even when we got down by 14 and 21. We could be in for another 1,000 yard rushing season for Frankie. (I expect this too) 133 yards on 18 carries.
2. AGG - Unless AGG doesn't play, gets "mono" like last year or disappears like he did against Auburn then he will more than likely be on this list. How can he not be one of your favorite players week-in and week-out. His ability to get yards after the catch through breaking tackles is what impresses me so much and he has gotten better at down-field blocking as well which was seen Saturday at times.
3. Jessie Lemonier - On a bad night for the defense Jessie still shined. 7 tackles and 1.5 sacks was his total for the night. He was double-teamed at times but never gave up and I constantly saw him help Ragin Cajuns up after tackling them or after the play was dead complimenting guys on good plays. Jessie, like Frankie has a high motor and I look forward to an outstanding senior season from him.
