Apparently you do not fish for bucketmouths or catfish with trot lines .....

Texoma was my home lake for years and many farmers ponds which can be like small lakes in the NE held some great bass.
I miss it.
Loved Caddo, Fork, and Toledo Bend, Sam Rayburn but they are not North

Granted my perspective is a bit skewed but I am certainly not a rabid outdoorsmen by any stretch of the imagination.

I live at Lake Conroe. Caddo & Rayburn are terrific lakes I haven't been to in years. But my favorite in Texas for largemouths is Choke Canyon down in South Texas.
