UVa was the first grass field we played on in two years. That isn't reality in 2018. Anyway, I think letting the 12th man dorm bring in a manicured grass patch into the Bill would be a hilarious self aware tradition.

A natural grass coaching box isn’t out of the question. Heck, let the man pick what type of grass based on best tasting.

Update on my choice for Defensive Coordinator Paul Shaffner from Colgate.

They played Army today (L 28-14) and held them to their lowest yardage all year 286. You can compare that to the 510 we gave up. They also forced a turnover which is something LU didn’t do. It’s safe to say Colgate’s talent level is nowhere near as good as ours but their coaches can get production out of their players.

Our opposition today (coach) slammed our D in his press conference.
Surprsingly Gill still stands behind the coach.
Loyalty is a good thing but to a fault is a fault.
Let them all GO!

I posted Auburn's media day in the preview of the Auburn game . Gus stated "defense is very well coached”, "they don’t do very much" “What they do they’re very good at.”

Also, I have read some posts about the announcers slamming our coaching style.
How many other coaches will be taking the video and audio of that on the road with them to keep recruits from coming here?

We get FCS style players and couple of gems that are FBS quality. That’s really not going to help us long term, especially with the Head Coach and staff that we have. Only MB and the WR coach should be allowed to stay with the team.

Oh. I thought you meant post game. I don’t see that as a slam. Can’t reme the Coach who was saying We only do 4 things on offense. But it was a pretty successful one You don’t have to have a huge playbook to be successful. Just have to run what you have well

Maybe my worldview of our program slanted my position a bit?

Semi-intended as a joke; semi-hopelessly wishing we'd slap a bag of money at his feet. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I listened to Army-Colgate game on ESPN radio. The announcer was reading off some Colgate stats. Their defensive stats are unbelievable. For their season, I believe they have allowed less TDs than LU has allowed in one game.

Colgate had allowed 28 points in 9 games prior to Army game. Army scored 28, thus Colgate has allowed 56 points in 10 games.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I believe Colgate has played the five worst offenses in all of FCS.

I received a phone call yesterday informing me that Colorado has fired their coach, Mike MacIntyre, who was AP Coach of the Year in 2016. He is the son of George MacIntyre, a former Liberty Assistant Coach in late 90s.
