Just noticed tonight that Idaho St's head coach was an assistant under Troy's DC, Vic Koenning, when Vic was the head coach at Wyoming. You can call me a conspiracy theorist, but coaches talk especially if their not conferences mates. Hopefully we change up the game plans a little bit this week.

Meh...I'm not worried. I think that line is a byproduct of the records involved. I see us winning this one pretty easily

I'm always worried we will lose, no matter who we play but I am fairly confident we win this one pretty handily.

I’m looking forward to what it reveals. We’ll be going against a top 5 FCS offense that’s averaging over 500 YPG and is pretty balanced between the rush and the pass. To our benefit, their defense ranks 87 overall and 103rd in passing yards allowed in the FCS. I’d like to see another 300+ passing game for LU, even without AGG and King. And let’s see if Wimbo’s eye in the sky can hold them under 400.

I am worried. Yes their defense is suspect but we are running pretty thin on the Offensive play makers. We need to get out of here with a win and that BYE week is much needed. This team can score fast and in bunches - hoping we can run early and sustain long methodical drives that eat up clock and not get down early where we all of sudden start pressing and have a lot of 3 and outs. Our D played great last week, but this is an entirely different type of offense that will put a lot of pressure on the back end and this QB is scary good.

In his press conference coach Gill mentioned that they will be evaluating wide receivers not on the depth charts. This would include walk ons Tully and Cherowicz and Rud Yearick, who was moved from quarterback to wide receiver this year. I expect that unless someone else gets hurt, Farrow, Coleman, Stubbs, Mcconnell and Frith will get almost all the snaps.

I want to remind everyone of last year's homecoming game: KSU. A few interesting pre-game quotes from the thread:

"They have a really weak pre-conference schedule, and barely eeked out a 38-34 win over D2 North Greenville."

"A game we should win easily."

"We will have had 2 weeks to prepare for KSU 's high school offense."

Sounds a lot like what everyone is saying about this year's game. Let's hope history doesn't repeat itself. One of the worst things I've ever experienced as a fan was walking out of the stadium last year and hearing the KSU players taunt and make fun of Liberty's jump to FBS as they headed to their locker room. They absolutely reveled in that victory.
