I have no doubt that they work hard and put in a game plan that they think will work but unfortunately they are wrong more often then not but there's not much you can do about right before kick off.

What kills me is in the in game decision making.

I stand by what I have said many times before, we should have cut ties and taken our lumps in the first few years of the transition with a new staff.

You can win a few games just by having better talent then the team you are facing. With that being said I don't care if we win out and and win a bowl game he has to go.

1000% Unless we can have 8 months between games. We are pretty good, given that much time to game plan.

If your only defense of a bad third down play call is tat second down didn’t go the way you wanted, you’re not ready to be a football coach. Did you select your third down play without watching what happened on second down.

If LU had gone for it on 4th, I’m fine with the call. But to run on 3rd & 15 just to punt it on fourth. You don’t deserve your pay check. There is no defense for that decision making.

It’s not in a vacuum. 2nd Down execution was poor. If it’s better on 2nd, then 3rd down is a moot point - you’re absolutely right. But SECOND DOWN DIDNT GO AS PLANNED!! So you must adjust what you do on third down. Football is all about stop and go. Second down is over, it’s 3rd & 15. What do we do NOW?
