plus the patriot acutally looks pretty sweet. I hear the dealers are dying to get rid of their commanders. They came out right when gas was almost at $3 so nobody bought them. You should be able to rob them if they've had one in their inventory this long.

If you are buying fwd (4x2) why not just buy a car? You'll save much more on gas. Buying a jeep w/ 4x2 is such a waste :?

It defeats the purpose of having a jeep...I can't believe they even make them. I'm shocked.

Too bad the Commanders start at like 27,000.

As for why I don't get a car: I'm too big for a car. For as much driving as I do, I need an SUV.

The more I look at the Compass, the more I like it. It reminds me of my mom's TrailBlazer which I love, only it's a little bit smaller.

I'm pretty much set on a Compass.

This is the one I'm looking at:

Also, just pointing these two out for tailgating purposes:

Super, as long as you are checking out girl-mobiles, have you looked at the Chrysler PT Cruiser? My wife bought one this year--lots of room, great gas mileage, decent price, and it's a tailgating machine!

SuperJon...
...Don't let the guys beat you down. It's a fine vehicle for a man of your stature.

Think of the big picture...
...it'll do fine carrying the kids to soccer practice some day, gathering the groceries, and going to the laundromat. You might fit right in with the rest of the tailgaters...
...at the next Brownie troop backyard camp out.

The Jetta TDi is no chick car. There are a lot of cars that I think suffer from the chick car label due to their styling. It's unfortunate.

How is that anywhere close to a chick car? I honestly do not see it. Depending on the color, I guess I could somewhat see it, but that's still a stretch.

Power everything, auxiliary jack, 12v input, tinted windows in the back. Nothing special, but not basic.

Doubt it. I don't need it. I rarely ever use my 4wd that I have now.
