I love how they accuse Rocco of recruiting the players here.

I agree on both counts but they probably won't be very good in '07. Graduation hit them hard and they were already pretty thin. I think they take Lock Haven and maybe Robert Morris next year and that's about it. But, if Reid can keep it going through '08 and beyond, they'll be a force in the league.

Yeah, that would be just a little bit illegal.

That's what I think it's funny.

Jim Reid has the support of those cadets. Even if they're not playing that great, they're going to be VERY tough to beat in Lexington. That place has to be initimidating for other schools just because of how loud the cadets are. If they ever filled that stadium it'd be insanely loud.

After reading the Sabre posts, I can see why they are concerned about their personnel leak. However, my observations have been that there is a mutual agreement and benefit to the movement of players from IA to IAA, IAA to DII, DII to DIII..... The movement of a back up upperclassman makes (scholarship) room for recruiting the next wave. I have heard that schools actually have these arrangements negotiated. Examples from up here, OSU to U of Akron, U of Akron to Ashland U, Ashland U to Wooster College, Wooster College to the Cleveland Browns....whoops.

Think how this might affect the mindset of a younger player.....better put down the bag of cheetos and get into that new weight room and earn a spot!

And YSU gets all those who are arrested in Columbus.

Yeah and I have a feeling all of the guys who are already here who talk regularly with the guys up in C-Ville have a big impact on the transfer process. We're getting the guys who used to all transfer to JMU in the past few years.

Wooster College in Ohio is where Jack Lengel came from to coach Marshall University in 1971 after the plane crash that killed their whole team, and then he went on to be the AD at Navy--see the We Are Marshall movie for more information.

good call on the credit to Wooster College in the Marshall movie, home of the Fightin' Scotts. Scholarship offered if you are profiecient with the pipes. Pretty awesome when the band, donning black and gold plaid kilts and blue face paint, descend from the hill of the campus onto the football field. Credit in the movie is also given to Ashland (then college) University.

Three years of eligibility ... Outstanding! It ought to be fun to watch the battle for the safety positions this spring.

I saw it...amazing movie...according to the movie he got help with revamping the offense from Bobby Bowden (who was coach at West Virginia at the time)

With an offense know as the "Veer"; and I loved Bobby Bowden's class act of putting "MU" and a cross on the back of the WVU helments in 1971, out of repect for Marshall's football team that died in the plane crash the year before.

So, who do we know for a fact that's coming? 4 or 5 is fine, but many more just takes all our scholarships away that we need to use on freshman.

As for Hicks, that would be a great pickup!
