Revised Predictions for 06-07

Yeah, I picked UNCA to finish eighth. They probably would finish eighth if Chuck South didn't lose its top scorer. UNCA sucks. And Liberty did get destroyed down there. I don't care that the final margin was seven points. UNCA was up 26 with 9:30 left.

I picked Liberty to finish third. And last I checked, there are 11 conference games left, so my "biased and ignorant pick" still has time to work itself out.

LU (down from 2nd with 16-18 overall wins in my initial prediction. The bottom four blow or I'd almost go lower with this)

Sorry, Chris, I didn't know that you were the one who wrote that whole page spread on the BSC teams. I retract my earlier comment and instead will describe your picking the LU men 3rd as "overly optimistic."

Sly, I hope you and Chris are both right. We all know that Winthrop would be number 1; if LU is number 3, who do you all see as the number 2 team in the conference--maybe High Point?

High Point is the second best team in the conference. I'm still not sold on Coastal, though they do have two road wins now. We'll see. All I know is that I wasn't making a prediction for how the standings would look after three games. If LU finishes well below third at the end of the year, I'll gladly eat my crow.

I am wrong. The championship is at the highest remaining seed. Would that be funny we end up 3rd, go to the semis, knock off High Point, and Coastal beats WU. We would host the championship vs. Coastal. I love to dream.

I think its entirely possible. As we've now said approx 1000 times- we have the talent- they just need to stay/get motivated

TBGBG you don't want to ride a bus to VMI. You know how those mountains are. You need to ride in the SCAR mobile. But I will be coming from Richmond that night. It is wierd how Richmond is 2 hours away from Lexington and Lynchburg but Lynchburg and Lexington are 1 hour apart and in the same direction from Richmond. Strange. I will be there though. Who needs tickets in the VMI section? Those seats are prime...Of course you can still cheer for Liberty

I'm with you man, I gotta sit with the Flames when the Flames are in town...But I am a friend of the pregram at VMI. I want those guys to do well since J. Allison is over there...But not when they play the Flames.
