We play Duke Thursday in our final fall game. Game time 6:00 p.m.

3-0 Duke top 5, Duke has 6 hits. We have 1 hit and 3 errors. We not look good in any phase of game.

We finally woke up. Score 5 in 5th inning. Lead 5-4 bottom 6.

LU wins 9-4. I will post a recap later tonight or in morning.

Got their nachos, which had very warm (almost hot) nacho cheese, and they are serving coffee from a Keurig.
Cold night for a softball game, but ballcoach, TF, and his friends were out there battling the weather.

After a slow start, LU came alive in the 5th inning scoring 5 runs. to seize control of the game. DiMartino came out of bullpen and tossed 4 innings, allowing only 1 run. Bats came alive the final 3 innings, with several clutch hits.
This team has a lot of depth, getting contributions from both the starters and bench. A couple of freshmen had really good at bats.
just need to "tighten up" defense a little.

I am excited about 2018 season.
