I told someone in the administration tonight that I would be happy to serve on a search committee.

We have seen enough in 6 years to recognize we are not learning from our mistakes or getting better at in game adjustments. Time to move on.St Francis has improved a lot more than we have in the last several years. I believe their enrollment is 2700 and their football budget is probably 20% of ours.

Sly Fox wrote:Streeter has legitimate LU credentials and would fit the profile of what we want in a head coach with the lone exception of FBS head coaching experience. But frankly the success we have seen from Clemson's offense at the highest level negates much of that concern. Honestly think he gets the call to a P5 opportunity this offseason. His name is already being mentioned in early lists for several jobs that clearly will be vacant by season's end. That is a credit to Brandon. I am sitting and watching D4 here in Houston and have a hard time arguing that he wasn't exceptionally well coached by Brandon coming into the league. The issue is he doesn't call plays for Clemson.
As for Venables, the stink of his Stoops experience may be fading but it makes it tough for me to give an objective opinion.
Frankly I continue to cheer for Coach Gill. But I completely understand the frustration.
