I can't believe VT almost choked that away. I've said all along that UNC is beatable. This was only their 2nd true road game and it showed.

Their (UNC) defense is very porous at times. This is what i was concerned about and our porous defense was magnified big time on the road.

plus UNC threw the ball away 17 times and that was 20 points for VT.

i think its funny how tech wasn't considered good when they beat duke, but as soon as the beat unc there a great team.
honestly, i don't think any schools are great right now. a bunch of really close games today that couldv'e knocked off top 10 teams

did anyone say they were great??.....they played Great against UNC.....their defense was great......this win is so much bigger than their win against Duke b/c UNC was #1, is a better team than Duke this year......

To beat 2 top 25 teams.... yes dook is not in my top 20 but my 25. They are 3-0 in the ACC and they pounded UNC-G on the road in between the two big wins.... I think that makes them a good team, Colmen Collins is playing much better and that is really the big difference...Gators are back at the top

Heels lose to the Hokies, 94 to 88. Carolina had it cut down as low as 3, but couldn't convert on some long balls.

That's legit. The one time K had a bad team he left for surgery.

No one would question the move, but Coach K went back and had the win-loss record from that year taken off of his permanent coaching record. He had to appeal it to the NCAA and all of that. That's where the sentiment comes from.

I watched some of the Dook game.....Miami is really bad.....

I hate Dook, but they shot 68% from the field......"Even the fat chick gets asked to the prom one year"

They played much better, but the commentators acted like every time Dook touched the ball they were participating in the greatest game of all time.....they mentioned Paulus with Hurley again.....

how about i'll go ahead and mention duke now. overrated and have been playing terrible. the tar heels on the other hand...full of talent...have more potential than anyone to win the national championship. HOWEVER, down to VT by 23? i know i know, they came back, but it was an L. possibly overated also? i dont know... they're good, but the #1 team in the nation DOES NOT get down by 23 points. we'll check the heels out in the next game, and then we can fire back and forth a little more.

Carolina played horrible and VT played great. That's the recipe for an upset. We all know that.

oh yeah, i agree... for the most part. they played GREAT the last 10 mins. of the second half. it was just surprising to see that team play 3/4 of the ball game the way they did, as it would have been surprising if duke (or anyone) had been in the same situation.

no one is just amazing this year. it's going to be interesting...especially in the acc. i'm expecting some very tight games, and i wouldn't have it any other way.
