We start back so late that i think it hurts us lining up visits. We try to cram visits into the last 2 weekends before signing day so there is some activity on campus when they come. We lost 2 over the weekend and 1 that was scheduled to come. I wish we would do a week earlier like most other schools.
Just a couple weeks out from signing day and i would guess we still have 4 to 6 spots to fill. I havent seen any confirmed visits. We have to be looking for atleast 1 tight end another d lineman or 2 an o lineman and then an athlete type player i would guess.
I Believe nelson was the 4th recruit that came the weekend murray and mitchell committeed. Pierre was also there. Love to get him and malik thirdgill. London lewis and grant stuard are the other 2 most impressive on tape that were still in the mix for.
It appears there are some very highly rated players still considering LU and making their visit. Hopefully Gill keeps his stellar record of getting kids verbal once they visit.
6 on campus according to tweet from thiesen. Im 99 percent sure 3 of them are frank boyd from midloathian offers from nccu and delware state, 3 star dl london lewis and verbal commit remington green. Not sure who the other 3 are yet.
Just as Buckshot was the crucial piece to last years class, London Lewis is the crucial piece to this class!! Great job HCTG for continuing to excel in recruiting!

Agreed FHT....I've been a bit critical of HCTG at times, but he can recruit and I believe this is a great pickup for us. Hoping for several more!
Looks like we couldnt get thirdgill at a real position of need as well. Seems like hes a real west coast kid. Probably needs more time to think it over or its just too big of a transition. 2 nice pieces this weekend though
