11 Minnesota University Players Suspended, and the team is boycotting their bowl game. No police charges , in a case where drunk female claiming rape by several people in one night. The players say it was consensual, yet the school did a private investigation and suspended them.

I heard an update yesterday on Minnesota. The players talked to coaches for over an hour before coming to their decision. Also, after initially staying he worked with the head coach to come to the decision, it's now clear the athletic director acted unilaterally.

I don't have a problem with suspending players while they are under investigation for criminal allegations. I don't feel sorry for them when their defense is, "It was consensual." Their defense should be, "I wasn't even there," or "I didn't have sex with her." College students have to learn that if there's any alcohol involved at all, better move is just to avoid the situation altogether.

It's the teammates' right to boycott the bowl, too. The bowls are meaningless anyway.
